On November 25 the “Presentation of the new version of Requirements for the Qualified Economic Operator Programme (QEO)” was held. Strengthening QEO Requirements: a comprehensive approach of security in the international supply chain.
Representatives of QEO companies, business chambers, companies that are currently in the process of QEO certification, Customs officials from the QEO Department and part of the management team of Uruguay Customs participated in the forum.
The objective of the activity was to inform about the updated version of requirements and its main changes, explain the scope of the security criteria incorporated, as well as their implementation.
