In a letter addressed at the Director General of Uruguay Customs, Mr. Jaime Borgiani, the Ambassador of Panama in Uruguay, Mr. Carlos Aguilar Navarro, thanked Uruguay Customs for their will to cooperate with Panama Customs in the process of transferring some modules of the IT System LUCIA.

En el mes de noviembre se realizaron reuniones de trabajo entre representantes de la Dirección Nacional de Aduanas y del CTPAT, con el fin de continuar con las tareas para la implementación del Acuerdo de Reconocimiento Mutuo entre las aduanas de Uruguay y Estados Unidos.

Con la participación de destacados panelistas y más de 300 participantes conectados en modalidad virtual, se realizó la 5ª Jornada de Derecho Aduanero de la Dirección Nacional de Aduanas. “Esta Jornada es también un corolario de la Aduana que queremos: abierta, analítica, en contacto con los operadores, liderando el comercio exterior en función de lineamientos claros trazados por el Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas”, expresó el Director Nacional, Cr. Jaime Borgiani, en su discurso de apertura.
